School Info

School Hours, Arrival and Dismissal

School hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m., Monday though Friday. Doors open at 8:15 a.m. Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. Morning Care is held in the fellowship hall with an adult supervising the children. The students are dismissed to their classrooms at 8:15. See School Programs for more info about Morning Care and Eagles' Nest Afterschool Program.

Meet Our Staff

FLS has a faculty of qualified, dedicated individuals who meet state certification guidelines. All hold Bachelor of Arts degrees; several have a Masters Degree.  The children from pre-school through 5th grade are in a self-contained classroom.  The Pre-school teacher has an aide. Grades 6,7,and 8 are departmentalized.

In addition to the faculty, FLS has a number of volunteers who serve in various capacities from tutoring to working in the library.

Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

The purpose of this organization will be to help parents and teachers in their mutual concern for greater effectiveness in Christian child training.
